Future Workshops?

Friday, October 14, 2016

Our fall session of workshops is well underway, with our Student Showcase readings scheduled for Sunday, December 4 from 3 to 5PM at The Book House in Maplewood. All students and faculty who participated in the fall session are invited to read from their original works (time allowance will be determined by the number of folks participating). Our special guest will be poet, Elijah Burrell, who will read from his book, The Skin of the River. This will be a wonderful event and we invite you to join us and be a part of our writing community.

Spring workshops will start the first week of April. Last year’s winter taught us that the arrival of snow and ice is unpredictable here in STL and it seems easier (and safer) for everyone to delay the beginning of workshops until the threat of winter weather has passed. Since our workshops are all conducted by publishing writers and writing professionals, though, this winter “break” also gives those of us on the teaching side a window of time to focus on our own work. Registration for spring workshops will (tentatively) begin the first day of March. If you would like to receive our newsletter with workshop and event updates, please, email us at Announcement of workshops and registration dates will be announced this winter.
