Have you always dreamed of becoming a novelist but you don’t know how to start? Or have you been working on a book and now you’re blocked and can’t seem to move forward? Or do you have a novel draft and you’re seeking a community of other writers with whom you can share  and receive input? If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these questions, JUMPSTARTING THE NOVEL is looking for you! In this six-week workshop, we will engage in a series of writing activities to get your novel juices flowing. We’ll discuss all the key components to creating and sustaining a book-length story, including character development, setting, pacing and plotting. You’ll engage in writing exercises and share ideas with one another to inspire greater creativity and to receive reader input. The workshop will be taught by Amy Sayre Baptista and is limited to 8 participants. NOTE: There will be no class the night of Tuesday, November 6; class will resume on November 13 and the final class will take place on November 20.
